Welcome to Billings – where there’s space for you to Be, Grow, and Play! I grew up in the “middle of nowhere” Scobey, Montana where I was highly active in my school and community. I even worked as a disc jockey at the local radio station, where I kept the town up to date on the latest news and greatest tunes. Growing up in a small town gave me a strong community mindset, which has followed me even to Montana’s largest community.

I moved to Billings in 2017 to attend Rocky Mountain College and pursue a double major in Small Business Management and Communication Studies. In the midst of the COVID-19 pandemic I was given the opportunity to intern for Big Sky Economic Development in the marketing department. Part of this role meant co-running the Better Off in Billings social media platforms. It was the perfect job for me – staying up to date on social media trends, endless creativity, and promoting living and working in the community that I adore! A year of interning later I was offered a full time position as the Marketing Specialist at Big Sky Economic Development and continue to promote all of the incredible parts and pieces of this community that make us #betteroffinbillings.

I truly do love Being here, Growing here, and Playing here. I am always excited to show newcomers the beautiful neighborhoods, parks, sights and sounds here; I can point you in the direction of the best food, drink, or dessert you are craving; I love to talk about the amazing local businesses we have here for THE.BEST. shopping, dining, and entertainment experiences; I can help connect you to the various networking groups and nonprofits if community involvement is big to you; and I love to explore the outdoors and can let you know the best places for walking, biking, strolling, running, fishing, kayaking, folfing – pretty much any activity you love!
